Current Style Number Plate I.D Tags

The ‘Current Style’ of number plate was introduced in September 2001 after the Prefix Style had run its course.

This style of number plate is dated by the two numbers in the middle of the registration which are followed by three random letters.

The two letters at the beginning of the number plate denote the regional DVLA office from which it was issued.
