This is a FREE automated service, we don't need any details from you in order to use it either, however as this utility is currently BETA (i.e. for public testing) we will store the valuation results temporarily in order to improve the calculations in the final version. We know it's not perfect yet although we think you'll find it's already a damn sight better than the automated ones we've seen on the dealer web sites. 1. This utility is for evaluation purposes only. Also, Regfinder offers no guarantees as to the value or saleability of your registration number, just use this utility as a guide for what you might get IF someone really wants to buy it. You can think of a personalised number plate as an investment although you cannot think of it as an insurable property, either you own it or you don't, it cannot be stolen from you although it's value really does lie in the eyes of the beholder.

2. A personalised number plate is only worth something to someone that wants to own it, this is especially so when your registration number's uniqueness relies on initials. And even then they'd need to be able to afford it. Many people don't like cherished number plates at all so it would obviously have little value to them.
